2016 Retreat Details

We've spent the day pulling together most of the details for the retreat. Below you'll find info about the price and some of our FAQs. To read all the FAQs, click here.

Where/when is the Geeky Puffin Knit Palooza being held?
In Farnham, UK, at the Mercure Farnham Bush Hotel, starting on Thursday, 10-November-2016, and running through, Sunday, 13-November-2016.

What are the main event components of the GPKP?
There are so many things we have planned, but the big events will be: classes (every attendee gets 2 classes included with their fee), a Vendor Market on site at the hotel, opening and closing ceremonies (with loads of door prizes), a fun interactive KAL, an Instagram scavenger hunt, a yarn swap, and much, much, much, much more.

How much does it cost to attend the GPKP?
£175 - accommodation and meals are NOT included

When is payment due for the retreat?
Upon confirmation of your spot at the retreat, your £100 deposit is due within 72 hours. The balance of your retreat fee is due by 2-September-2016.

What does the fee I'm paying for the GPKP include?
A goodie bag (sewn by Sam!!!!) filled with a multitude of items, a skein of yarn in an exclusive colourway plus 2 patterns designed by C.C. & Sam to go with it, 2 classes, all the events mentioned in the question above, and loads more!

What if I want to take a third class?
There is a spot on your Retreat Application to note if you are interested in taking a third class. We will need to make sure each attendee has a spot in their 2 classes first and then we will notify you if there is room for you in an extra class. The cost for an extra class is £30.

What if I or someone I know is interested in vending at the retreat?
Vendor Applications will open at the same time as retreat attendee sign-ups begin.

Sign-ups for the retreat will begin on Monday, 11-April, at 3pm BST (7am PDT, 8am MDT, 9am CDT, 10am EDT, 2pm UTC) for newsletter subscribers.

If there are spots remaining, we will open those spots to the general public on Tuesday, 12-April, at 3pm BST (7am PDT, 8am MDT, 9am CDT, 10am EDT, 2pm UTC).
