2016 Retreat Location

The 2016 Geeky Puffin Knit Palooza is being held in Farnham, UK, at the Mercure Farnham Bush Hotel. This former 17th-century coaching inn has been carefully restored to provide a relaxed hotel. The grounds are lovely and there are numerous locations in the venue to sit and knit and chat. If you'd like to stay onsite at the hotel during the retreat, in your attendee confirmation email you'll be provided with the hotel phone number to book a room in the block of rooms they have reserved for us.



Farnham is approximately 50 miles southwest of London. The retreat venue has a car park and is 0.5 mile from the Farnham Train Station (about a 5 minute walk). There are numerous restaurants in the hotel and within walking distance. If you'd like to do some touristy things during your stay, Loseley Park is 8 miles away, Jane Austen's House is 10 miles away, RHS Gardens Wisley is 15 miles away, or hop a train to London to have your own yarn crawl at the numerous yarn shops London offers.
